Later he came to the radio, where he provided musical accompaniment to more than 10,000 programs. Pawlicki became Kapellmeister in the Ronacher establishment, in the Wiener Kammerspiele and in the Renaissance theater. His teachers were Alfred Uhl (composition) and Hans Swarowsky (conducting), in 1950 he completed his studies with a diploma. He broke off his medical studies and attended the music academy in Vienna. As a 10-year-old he wrote his first compositions. Norbert Pawlicki played the piano from the age of 6 and also mastered all keyboard instruments.
